We're currently seeking for a reliable, hands-on Project Installation Lead (US) to support our growing installations in the US. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading technical fieldwork, team coordination, safety oversight, and customer interaction in the exciting world of tennis technology.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage Zenniz smart tennis court system installations, coordinating closely with our European team (and any locally recruited team members) to ensure successful project delivery.
Oversee hands-on installation work, including coordination of cabling, mounting, and system setup on tennis courts.
Perform routine maintenance on installed systems and troubleshoot issues.
Serve as the primary US-based competent person for safety compliance on Zenniz installation projects
Manage logistics: Place orders for materials from warehouses/suppliers, coordinate deliveries to job sites or customer locations.
Act as the key customer-facing representative: Communicate professionally with tennis club owners, coaches, and facility managers; explain Zenniz system features; demonstrate installation processes; and showcase our impressive demo videos.
Ensure all work complies with US safety standards (OSHA regulations) and site-specific requirements.
Travel for project assignments (duration varies; can include extended trips and consecutive jobs).
Assist with pre- and post-installation coordination, including site prep checks and final walkthroughs.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience:
4+ years in hands-on field installation work, preferably in telecommunications, low-voltage/structured cabling, AV systems, electrical/trade work, or similar (e.g., telecom technician, cable installer, low-voltage electrician).
2+ years in a supervisory/lead/foreman role, managing small teams on job sites.
Comfortable coordinating technical installations and using basic tools for fieldwork.
Certifications (nice to have; we support obtaining relevant ones):
OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour Construction Outreach Training (preferred for competent person status; reimbursement available upon completion).
First Aid/CPR certification.
Bonus: BICSI Installer/Technician, safety-related certs (e.g., STS/STSC), or relevant trade apprenticeships.
Other:
Strong communication skills: Able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical customers (e.g., tennis pros and club managers) and present demo videos confidently.
Reliable, organized, and self-motivated—able to handle travel, ordering supplies, and independent site management.
Valid US driver's license and clean driving record (company vehicle/mileage reimbursement provided for work travel).
Comfortable working outdoors on tennis courts in various weather conditions.
Authorization to work in the United States (US citizen, permanent resident, or valid work visa).
What We Offer
Competitive salary: $75,000-$95,000 base annually (depending on experience and certifications), plus potential bonuses for project completion.
Travel perks: Paid mileage, per diem for overnight stays, and reimbursed travel expenses.
Benefits: Health insurance (if full-time), 401(k) options, paid time off, and tool/equipment support.
Opportunity to join a fast-growing, innovative company backed by recent funding, expanding smart tennis tech across the US.
Work with a passionate international team—our Finnish experts will collaborate closely, providing training on Zenniz systems.
