Helsinki, October 2026 – Zenniz, the Finnish smart tennis court company with customers in over 30 countries, has been selected to TIME’s Best Inventions of 2026 list in the Sports & Fitness category. 

Zenniz is one of just 300 innovations chosen worldwide by the 100-year-old publication behind Person of the Year and the TIME100, which reaches more than 120 million people across print, digital, and social channels. Published every year since 2000, the annual Best Inventions list is built from nominations by TIME’s editors and correspondents around the world, with every entry judged on originality, effectiveness, ambition, and impact.

Zenniz Gen2, recognized by TIME as a smart tennis court system and described as “a tennis coach, stats keeper, line judge, and videographer all at once”, joins the 2026 Sports & Fitness lineup that includes some of the biggest names in sport: the Adidas Trionda soccer ball, Nike’s ACG Radical Airflow Shirt, Reebok Smart Eyewear, and Major League Baseball’s Automated Ball-Strike Challenge System. Across categories, this year’s honorees also include global leaders such as Samsung and Johnson & Johnson.
